Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library is a group of volunteers dedicated to supporting our local library in a variety of ways.  We hold a large book sale every year with all proceeds going toward purchasing materials, books, activities, and more for the library.

The FOL meets about 3-4 times per year for an hour long meeting held at the library.  The library director attends the meeting.  This is an open meeting for all officers, staff, volunteers, and interested library patrons.  During the meetings we plan upcoming events, decide how book sale money will be allocated, review volunteer opportunities and more.

We welcome anyone to join who is interested in furthering the success of our library by attending meetings, volunteering at book sales, working on special events, shelving books and more.  You can volunteer a few hours a year or a few hours a month.

We are extremely proud to be a part of helping our library purchase materials and expand the Summer Reading Program.  We hope others will also want to participate in the future growth of our library. Come visit the library today!
